HOW TO MAKE A HAND SCREW CLUMP

How to make a hand screw clump is introduced here

A adequate steel tuving or rod is necessary. I bought an anchor bolt, 16mm in dia. to much boring bit I have.

Cut the steel rod to fit jaw thickness. I cut in 38mm to match 2 pcs. x 1x4(19mm thicness/pc).

Drilled hole to tap M8, screw size. Quantity is a half of cut rods.

The screw combined with rod.

Drilled 8mm dia on the remaining rods to receive the screws. Fix rings are fixed to sandwich the rod. I revetted these fix rings to the screw.

Main body (jaw) and screw assembries. Finally glued 2 pcs. of jaw to one, and painted by clear coart.

I made the body by glueing 2 pcs. because I used 1x4 and it is easier to fix the fix rings to the screw. However, making this body by 1 pcs. is usual way.
