HOMEMADE STUDY DESK
This is only one which you can call "furniture". I remember my first desk was kids' one which I added height and width, but soon I thought to buy one. I looked the good desk in some furniture shops, and could not find good desk at my estimation. I started to build finally a study desk, but far from perfect. At that time, I had no time, no power tools, no skill. However anyway it was enough rigid, enough large. I used this terrible looking desk for long time, but when I reformed my room, I decided new one. I needed larger desk recently for big desk top computers.
I used only standard plywood, 1x4, 2x4 etc. I spent enough time. I have now many tools and machines necessary, therefore completed desk is nice. Finish is by clear polyurethane painting as I like natural wood grain.
I made plan anyway to estimate necessary material and cost.
Top plate is made of glued 1x4 boards. I like this grain.
