It is impossible to list all the items which I have made in my life, but I show some small ones. Anther reason beside fun is necessity. As I wrote before there is no shop where I can buy anything as wanted, therefore I have to make by myself them.
Marking knife
I use a pencil usually but I needed a marking knife. I ground a piece of steel rod used as a leg of the folding table kept in my junk box. This material is made of heat treated steel and only shaping by grinding is enough to make the knife. I also made a handle shaping a scrap wood.
Cutters
Scrap blade of machine saw, hack saw etc. are good to make various knives, cutters, chisels etc. Handles are made of scrap wood. This material need not heat treatment but only grinding. You can make in a few minutes at any time you want.
Marking gauge
I made both types, i.e. Japanese style and western style. Of cause the materials are picked up from the junk box.
Cases, boxes
I made a chisel case where I can put the chisels.
I don't have a router as I have no physique to control by hand. But, I have a trimmer to use like a router. There are too many small accessories, and it is difficult to keep well. I made a case to contain all the items. It made the things much better.
Also I made a case for the bench lathe. This lathe, made in Austria, was bought more than 30years ago. Also many accessories were bought at that time, but I have not used all most of them. Anyway I made the case for this lathe.
I made much more items. When I need something but I cannot buy at that time, I have to make if possible. For instance the cutters, knives etc. The tiny planes are such items as shown.
Pen stand. This plywood made. I checked the net to find favorite pattern, and printed it to glue on the article. It is one of my favorite items.
Toilet roll holder. Previous metal made one is now in the junk box.
I made this height adjustable table for the PC, but now I use as a usual coffee table.
This is a pot stand to put the air pot, cups, tea container etc. First I looked for the suitable one, but could not find such simple one. Therefore I made this as I imagined. I use every day.
