Audio concert at Ninnaji in Kyoto

We visited Ninnaji Temple in the eastern part of Kyoto City on a rainy day.
It is one of the oldest temples in Japan.
We did not hear any noise of modern civilization inside the temple.
The picture shows the huge wooden gate of Ninnaji.

Ninnaji Kindly allowed us to use its non-public space for our audio concert.
Silence! A gentle breeze was carrying the tone of Lute music reproduced by the Sakuma System.

The history of the Ninnaji Temple dates back to 886 AD. A chief priest has been selected from the Japanese royal family for over one thousand years. A priest told us about the long history of the temple.
The black cabinet shown is Altec DTS745A-F.
A home-made tuba speaker was on the left. The doors of the speaker were closed until the concert begins. Opening the speaker doors is also an exciting part of the concert.
